UPDATE (3/7/2014) - Unofficial feral hog harvest count for Hays and Caldwell County for the first 6 months of the CHAMP program is 2,247!!!  102 hogs ahead of their goal for this period.

ALSO - Texas Wildlife Services plans to provide aerial control in the Plum Creek Watershed and surrounding areas later this month.  Landowner agreements accumulated to date total between 15,000 and 20,000 acres.  Flights will continue through Helicopter Tours of Texas and Operation Dust Off throughout the spring and summer.

Thanks to the Project Supporters and Task Force Members, CHAMP programs have prevented approximately $450,000 of losses to the agricultural, personal property and environmental resources of Hays and Caldwell County during their first 6 months of operation.
